Capacity is the ability to build, test and carry a thing yourself — and it is now buildable.
The argument
Permission is someone else's decision. Capacity is yours: time, structure, skill, tools and a way of working that survives a bad week.
Technology changes the economics of capacity. One person with clear structure can now do what recently required a small company. That shifts the question from who will let me to what am I able to carry.
Know your constraints. Protect what cannot be gambled. Experiment aggressively with what can.
What I observe
Capacity compounds quietly; permission arrives late and changes less than expected.
